I am delighted to welcome you and your family to our vibrant early childhood school community at Trailhead Learning Center! At TLC, we believe the early years are a time of wonder, exploration and growth. Our dedicated educators are committed to proving a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where young minds can thrive. Our state-of-the-art facility offers limitless choices for staff and students. This environment allows a comfortable learning environment while providing opportunities to learn in different places with unique furniture choices and arrangements.
The “Trailhead Blazers” consist of students in grades Preschool, Jr. Kindergarten and Kindergarten. Trailhead Learning Center has eleven sections of Preschool for our 3 and 4 year olds, four sections of Jr. Kindergaten and is a nine-section school for Kindergarten students. TLC is the proud home to approximately 525 students.
We offer developmentally appropriate programs for early success and foster an environment for superior learning and interactions through rich social environments. Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to foster curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. We focus on the whole child—supporting their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through play-based and hands-on experiences.
We understand the importance of strong partnerships with parents and caregivers, and we look forward to working closely with you to support your child's learning journey. Together, we can create a joyful and enriching experience that lays a strong foundation for their future success.
The teachers and staff members at TLC are all highly qualified and eagerly provide not only classroom instruction in the main content areas, but also all the extras, such as: Counseling, Music Education, Physical Education, Title I and Special Education. In addition, we are proudly trained in and implement the Boys Town Social Skill program at Trailhead.
