Cloudy weather did not prevent Beadle 2nd and 5th graders from viewing the solar eclipse on Monday, April 8th! Hope and good guessing sent students and teachers outside at the perfect time. Everyone cheered, clapped, and jumped around. It was an awesome, and memorable, experience for everyone. Science lessons on the moon's rotation around Earth was seen first hand. So cool!

Mrs. Kocmick's kindergarten class at Beadle would like to thank Katie Doty from 4H for coming to our classroom the last 5 weeks and teaching us. The students had a great time and learned a lot! The students enjoyed watching the eggs in the incubator and holding the chicks after they hatched. A fun learning experience by all!

After assessing the road conditions in the rural areas, the late start for Yankton School District has been canceled. Yankton School District will not have school today, Tuesday, March 26 due to the poor road conditions and drifting snow in the rural bussing areas. Our first priority is the safety of the students, and these conditions put them at risk. Dr. Wayne Kindle
