Holiday fun was had in Mrs. Lukkes's 4th grade classroom at Beadle. We had a snowball fight, Holiday Sing, movie watching, and bingo!

Beadle students, staff, and former staff enjoyed the Beadle Christmas Sing this morning. This is a favorite tradition and a wonderful and spirited kick off into the holiday break. Thank you to Mrs. Rempfer for organizing everything and her beautiful piano playing! Thank you to the 5th graders who helped with the slide show of songs. Thank you to all the of the former staff members who returned to sing along - It is so fun to see you! Happy Holidays to everyone!

Beadle students are showing their spirit today! Congratulations to our last Good Character Award winners of 2024! Way to set a great example! Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday and break! We are looking forward to celebrating more of our students' Good Character in 2025!

Mrs. Hunhoff's science students were ready for "The Christmas Paper Chain Challenge". Partners worked together to see who could make the longest paper chain in 10 minutes. The race was on!

Fifth graders were completing a graphing project using M&M's. Once students had finished the assignment the candy was a sweet reward!

Happy Grinch Day!!! Miss Olinger's class traveled to Whoville to help teach the Grinch the true meaning of the holidays! 🎄❤️

Oh What a Grinch Day in Kindergarten with Mrs. Frick at Beadle! We designed Whoville, pinned the antler on Max, counted colors on cosmic brownies to graph, rolled the dice to subitize and color the Grinch's heart and had an all out silly day!

Due to icy roads, Yankton School District will have a 2-hour late start today, Thursday, December 19. There will be no morning preschool at Webster School and no morning Special Education Preschool at Stewart. All buses will run approximately two hours later than their normally scheduled time.

Mrs. Kocmick's kindergarten students enjoyed Grinch Day by making grinch trees. Students did a great job and it was a tasty treat to end our day!

We're having fun at Beadle School.

Merry Christmas from Mrs. Herrboldt's Third Grade Class at Beadle Elementary School. We wish you all the very best this holiday season!

Beadle 4th graders enjoyed a trip to the Mead Museum. Mrs. Lukkes's class loved the play area and wearing more about Lewis and Clark. The Christmas trees were fun to see too!

Beadle staff and students were treated to two short plays based on the series "Bad Guys" by Aaron Blabey. Mr. Goeden's Intro to Drama class from YHS wrote and performed the plays. They did an amazing job and it was so fun to see former quite a few former Beadle Bugs in the cast! Thanks to Mr. Goeden and the YHS students who took the time to share their talent with us! We love both plays!
