Mrs. Loecker's 3rd graders at Lincoln School LOVE morning meeting and all the fun greetings we do everyday. Today it was the "wake up" greeting. Everyone pretended to be sleeping and we took turns waking each other up. Morning meeting is such a great way to build classroom community and we are becoming more and more like a school family each day!

Combining music and movement helps make learning last a lifetime. Mrs. Drotzmann's kindergarten class has been working hard in music recognizing different timbres of voices and changing their movements with scarves to accompany a song.

For a class reward, Mrs. Loecker's 3rd graders did art with a friend! Students first drew a scribble on their paper and then traded papers and their partners had to turn the scribble into a real object. Then we made silly faces by drawing the different parts of a face and trading in between. The giggles were so sweet!
