Mrs. Loecker's 3rd grade class wrapped up our topic on fossils in science with a fun activity today. We used real and fake fossils and other objects found in nature and impressed them into playdough. We also looked at other real-life fossils, like shark teeth, shells, plant fossils, petrified wood, and even some dinosaur bones.

We finished up our chapter in math on perimeter and area. Now, during our free time, we are having fun creating our own animal zoos using given dimensions for each animal exhibit. We also need to include pathways for walking, a restroom, and a ticket booth. Math is fun!
