It's a "Big Day" at Lincoln Elementary School! One of our 5th grade students in Mrs. Roth's class who has been working very hard to improve her English Language Skills did an AMAZING job reading the morning announcements and the pledge of allegiance! So Proud of her!!

Our Lincoln Leaders are PUMPED.... the YHS Bucks football team dropped off pumpkins to our k-3rd grade students!! And boy, did it make their day!! A huge shout out to Bucks who took a break from their morning to help us pick out THE BEST pumpkins at Lincoln!

The end of the first quarter is Thursday, October 20. School will be in session on that day. A one-day in-service program for Yankton School District staff will be held on Friday, October 21. There will be no school for Yankton Public School students in Preschool through Grade 12 on this day. School will resume on Monday, October 24.

Have you ever heard of Pumpkin Bones? The Lincoln Music Students have been hard at work looking for Pumpkin Bones. He is from one of their favorite songs and keeps stealing all of the pumpkins. These lucky students were among the first to find a staff member with the Pumpkin Bones capture card. Play continues through Oct. 31.
