Mrs. Wagner's Kindergarten celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day by making "King" of "ing" hats! We are learning about letter blends and word chunks.

There will be no school tomorrow, Friday, January 15 for the Yankton School District. Forecasted high winds and blowing snow will create unsafe travel.

The student readers in Miss Greene's room have been doing a fantastic job!

Congratulations to Yankton High School Dance Coach Stacy Ryken for being named the 2020 SDHSCA Dance Coach of the year!

We had a fun day celebrating Christmas in kindergarten! We passed the Santa until the music stopped, we pinned the nose on Rudolph, and we fished for candy canes. We also had some pretty yummy treats! Have a safe and healthy Christmas break everyone!

Mrs. Stanosheck's 5th graders were inspired by artist Mary Cassat and Yankton's own "Duckota". Photographer Nancy Hall allowed us to use her photography of "Duckota" as well.
