Fifth graders at Webster have been very busy making models of energy efficient, eco-friendly rooms in a home. They have been learning about the importance of conserving our nonrenewable natural resources. They have some great ideas!!

Webster School participated in the Scripps Spelling Bee last night. We are so proud of all these brave students who were courageous enough to participate! Also, a special congrats to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners who will move on to the regional competition.

There will be no school for Yankton Public School students on Thursday, November 11, in observance of Veteran’s Day. Classes will resume on Friday, November 12.
Congrats to the Gazelle Volleyball team as they end their regular season play. Finished with a 14-13 record! Awesome work. Now...onto the SoDak 16 next Thursday the 11th. Waiting on the seedings and bracket info.

An in-service program for Yankton School District teachers and staff will be held tomorrow, Friday, October 22 There will be no school for students in Preschool through Grade 12 on that day. School will resume on Monday, October 25.
