Update: Yankton Schools will begin releasing students at 4:00 pm. Buses will run accordingly. Parents may pick their child up anytime between now and 4:00 pm.
Due to the impending severe weather approaching the area and scheduled to be in Yankton around dismissal time, we will be holding students at each school until the storm passes. Parents who wish to pick their children up at normal dismissal time or in advance may do so. Once the storm has passed through the area, then regular dismissal procedures with bus students and walking students will occur. We will send another message when the decision is made to safely release students and proceed with busing.
Yankton School District announces that the final day of school for students will be May 19, 2022. Report cards will be mailed to the home of each student.
Baccalaureate, sponsored by the Yankton Ministerial Association, will be held on Wednesday, May 18, at 7:00 p.m. in the Yankton High School Theatre.
Graduation will be held on Sunday, May 22, at 1:00 p.m. in the Yankton High School Gymnasium.
