When you have been hard at work on testing, the best thing to do is grab new library books and enjoy reading in the sunshine!

Thank you to the Yankton Medical Clinic, Ace Bike and Fitness and the Rotary Club for the 2nd grade Bike Safety presentation today at YSD.

The Easter bunny delivered some early news...Webster Star Students!

Hippity Hoppity...great news from Webster - these students were Caught Being Good!

Yankton Public Schools will not be in session from Thursday, April 14, through Monday, April 18. April 14 is a parent-teacher conference compensation day, and April 15 and April 18 are Easter Vacation days. School will resume on Tuesday, April 19.

Ms. Harvison’s third grade class did a “Math March Madness” challenge. Each day they did a basketball related math problem. Kids got “one basket” for each problem they got correct during the month of March. These are the top 5 basket makers. We celebrated our “victory” with some extra time in the gym shooting “real” baskets. The kids had a great time during the month celebrating our version of March Madness….and we practiced a few math concepts too.

The Webster Winners held a cereal drive for the Food for Thought program. After only 5 days, they collected 591 boxes of cereal to donate! Thanks to all who were able to help...this was a valuable lesson for our students: helping others in need when we can. Pay it forward!

A one-day in-service day for Yankton School District teachers will be held on Monday, April 4. There will be no school for students in Preschool through Grade 12 on this day.

Bragging rights for these Webster Winners --- they were Caught Being Good!

If these two Webster Star Students don't make you smile, look again! Congratulations!

Stewart Student Council recently put on a paper goods drive for Pathways Shelter for the Homeless. Thank you Stewart students and families for helping make this drive a success!

Ag in the Classroom and two local farmers visited Webster's 4th graders. They taught students about the farming involved to make a pizza and other food items. Students enjoyed a taste (pizza, cheese and pudding) after! We appreciate the collaboration with our local entities!

These Webster Star Students are ready for spring by displaying great character in and out of the classroom! HOOT! HOOT!

First day of spring, and our student behaviors were blooming! Congratulations to these Webster Winners who were Caught Being Good today!

Proud is an understatement... these Webster Star Students deserve the spotlight!

Have you heard the big news? We were Caught Being Good at Webster this week!

Thanks Stewart PTA for the purchase of the Boxcar Children chapter books.
