A one-day in-service program for Yankton School District teachers and staff will be held on Friday, March 17. There will be no school for students in Preschool through Grade 12 on this day.

We have a number of bus routes in the country which begin prior to day-light. Given some of the snow drifting that has occurred on our country bus routes we are going to have a 2 Hour Late Start on Friday, February 24. This will enable all of our bus route drivers to have much needed day-light while driving these routes. I appreciate your understanding and support during this snow and wind driven Winter. There will be no morning preschool at Webster School and no morning Special Education Preschool at Stewart. All buses will run approximately two hours later than their normally scheduled time. Please check the Here Comes the Bus app to track your child's bus. Let’s be optimistic and call the weather events the last couple of days our “March Blizzard”!
YSD Elementary Parent Teacher Conferences have been rescheduled to Monday, February 27 from 4:00-8:00 due to the cancellation of school today Feb. 23.
