There will be no school for Yankton Public School students on Thursday, November 11, in observance of Veteran’s Day. Classes will resume on Friday, November 12.

Kindergarten celebrated our 50th Day of School. Wow, time flies by fast when you are having fun! We danced to the Hand Jive, Twist and Shout, and Sock Hop! We even had a bubble blowing contest, made some 50 Day art work, and wrote our numbers to 50!

Carving pumpkins in Kindergarten! Scooping out the inside of the pumpkin is a fun, sensory experience! Creating a jack-o-lantern design encourages critical thinking skills. We guessed how many seeds, put them in groups of ten, and counted by tens to see how many seeds!
