An in-service program for Yankton School District teachers and staff will be held tomorrow, Friday, October 22 There will be no school for students in Preschool through Grade 12 on that day. School will resume on Monday, October 25.

Lincoln first graders honored Native American Day with different projects based on local tribal culture. We created dreamcatchers, knots on a counting rope, and used tribal symbols to tell a story on a teepee.
Flashlight Friday is all about enjoying reading in Mrs. Davison's third grade class.

We made some silly jack-o-lanterns in kindergarten! These will look great in our "pumpkin patch" in the hallway.
Kindergarten has been busy learning about texture, paper tearing, step by step directions and listening. We traced our hands and practiced our cutting skills. Kindergarten is a hoot!

Kindergarten is busy learning about apples and pumpkins, learning sight words, writing in our daily journals, and sorting! I am very proud of these children. They stay on task, follow the school rules and make learning fun and meaningful!

Kindergarten Book Boxes are so "cool"! Our students made their own Book Boxes to keep their easy readers in! The books we make stay safe and are easy to find when we want to read! Reading Rocks! And so does Kindergarten!
