Fun Day and YMS Tour

FUN DAY at Lincoln Elementary School. Fun is Good!

The second grade students from Lincoln traveled to the visitor’s center, had a picnic lunch, and hiked Smutty Bear trail in search of Spring life. Learning about and seeing plants and animals around us was such a valuable experience!
Thank you to the adult chaperones who traveled with us and took time out of their busy days to spend time with us. Mrs. Evans and her class think YOU ROCK!

May the Fourth be with You! Lincoln First Grade Students listened, played, and moved to music by composer John Williams in music. They even got to use light sabers!

Miss Kearney, a YHS senior, is helping kindergarten students make Mother's Day projects. She comes to our school through the World of Work program. She will make an excellent teacher!

We took a small trip up the hill behind LIncoln School to release our butterflies! We really enjoyed watching our "babies" (caterpillars) grow up into beautiful butterflies. It was fun and at the same time, a little sad for some of us to say "goodbye". What a great way to learn about life cycles!

Thank you to the Gavins Point National Fish Hatchery. Mrs. Davison's 3rd graders had so much fun! What a great field trip!

It was so great to have field trips back! Sam at the Fish Hatchery did a fantastic job and we loved every minute of it!
