Carving pumpkins in Kindergarten! Scooping out the inside of the pumpkin is a fun, sensory experience! Creating a jack-o-lantern design encourages critical thinking skills. We guessed how many seeds, put them in groups of ten, and counted by tens to see how many seeds!

We made some silly jack-o-lanterns in kindergarten! These will look great in our "pumpkin patch" in the hallway.

Kindergarten has been busy learning about texture, paper tearing, step by step directions and listening. We traced our hands and practiced our cutting skills. Kindergarten is a hoot!

Practicing subtraction skills with a game is a great way to improve!

Kindergarten is busy learning about apples and pumpkins, learning sight words, writing in our daily journals, and sorting! I am very proud of these children. They stay on task, follow the school rules and make learning fun and meaningful!
