
We had a fun time at our Christmas party! Thank you to the parents who sent the yummy treats! We also played pass the Santa, pin the nose on Rudolph, and snowman bowling. Have a safe and happy holiday break!

An elf came to read us a silly story today! We have been having so much fun getting into the spirit of the holidays this past week of school!

For Computer Science Week, we are learning the basics of coding and having lots of hands-on fun while we do it! We tried out a game called "Let's Go Code!" today. We made "mazes" for each other to try while giving them step by step instructions with symbols. Coding is cool!

The 5th Graders made posters to help remind everyone that we need to save our oceans!


Happy Thanksgiving! We created our own version of the Macy’s Parade!


Miss Greene's class has spent the last two days presenting their habitat projects. They did a FANTASTIC job!



Mrs. Rutledge's class were so excited to try out the new Promethean Board!


To end American Education Week, we celebrated with a "Flashlight Friday"! We enjoyed reading books in the dark with a flashlight, a stuffed animal buddy, and our shoes off. We are becoming independent readers!

Mrs.Benson's first graders were PUMPED to have our new Promethian board installed! They loved writing their names with their fingers, how cool!!

Lincoln 5th graders celebrated family and friends who are veterans and created Veterans Day timelines.


There will be no school for Yankton Public School students on Thursday, November 11, in observance of Veteran’s Day. Classes will resume on Friday, November 12.

Kindergarten celebrated our 50th Day of School. Wow, time flies by fast when you are having fun! We danced to the Hand Jive, Twist and Shout, and Sock Hop! We even had a bubble blowing contest, made some 50 Day art work, and wrote our numbers to 50!
