Running Club has returned to Stewart School! 4th & 5th graders have the opportunity to participate in this weekly fitness activity with Mr. Ingalls and Mrs. Bergeson. Earning foot tokens for miles completed is the favorite! Shout out to Ms. Card for starting this loved Stewart tradition!
🎃 Mrs. Johnson's 4th grader Stewart Stars kicked off the Halloween season with an eerie adventure today! They explored the fascinating world of owls and the magic of the South Dakota Raptor Center, discovering the secrets of these nighttime hunters. 🌙✨ Then, they delved into the spooky task of dissecting mysterious owl pellets, uncovering the hidden treasures within—bones, fur, and other remnants of the owl's meals. 🦉💀 It was a thrilling blend of education and Halloween fun as they learned about the creatures that roam the wild under the cover of darkness!

As part of our unit on adding and subtracting decimals, Mrs. Sage's Stewart 5th graders were challenged to plan a meal using grocery flyers that would feed their entire group for under $15. They loved applying what they're learning to real life!
