The Yankton Bucks will host Aberdeen Central on Saturday, March 4 at 2:00 PM in the SoDak 16 boys basketball game. Doors will open at 1:00 PM.
YSD Activities Passes and Senior Citizen Golden Passes will NOT be accepted since this is a SDHSAA post season event.
The Bucks finished off the regular season today with another convincing win over Sturgis 60-42. On a special note, Head Coach Chris Haynes is now tied with former Bucks Coach Bob Winter in all time wins in program history with 151. CONGRATULATIONS COACH!!!
The Bucks came away with a convincing win on Senior Night by defeating the Spearfish Spartans 66-39. The Bucks are now 14-5 and will look to carry this momentum into tomorrow's final regular season game vs. Sturgis. Tip off at 2:00p. GO BUCKS!!!
Yankton's own Miles Krajewski is currently in Vitoria, Spain competing in the Spanish Para Badminton International 2023.
Yesterday, Miles defeated the #4 ranked player in the world.
Today, Miles won his quarterfinal match and will play in the semifinals tomorrow.

Tomorrow night is SENIOR NIGHT! Please help us celebrate these nine Seniors. We can't thank them enough for the positive impact they have had on our program through their dedication, hard work, character, leadership, and overall love for the game. THANK YOU SENIORS!!!
Due to the Winter Storm Warning for Yankton County, Yankton School District is canceling school and activities for tomorrow, Wednesday, February 22.
In a battle between two top teams the Bucks lose a close one tonight to SF Washington, 41-46. The Bucks will look to R1SE UP and finish the regular season with a couple of wins at home- Friday night vs. Spearfish(tip at 7:30p); and Saturday vs Sturgis(tip at 2:00p). GO BUCKS!!!
The Bucks pick up another win tonight as they defeated Douglas 74-60. In addition to the win, Drew Ryken added his name to the record books again by tying the single game three point record with 9 three pointers! CONGRATS DREW!!!

Mrs. Ryken's 8th grade Algebra students are having a "Triple F" day: "Factoring Fun Friday!" We used a scavenger hunt to practice our factoring skills.

In a game that had 13 lead changes and 4 ties, the Bucks picked up a tough road win tonight against Tea Area, 77-68. The Bucks will finish up their 5th game in 8 days when they play Douglas in a double header tomorrow night at the Summit. Tip off is set for 7:30pm. GO BUCKS!!!
There will be no school for students in Preschool through Grade 12 on Monday, February 20, in observance of President’s Day. School will resume on Tuesday, February 21.
Due to the icy conditions, Yankton School District will have a 2 hour late start, today, Wednesday, February 15. There will be no morning preschool at Webster School and no morning Special Education Preschool at Stewart. All buses will run approximately two hours later than their normally scheduled time. Please check the Here Comes the Bus app to track your child's bus.
The Bucks take down SF Christian tonight 65-48. Drew Ryken was 6-10 from 3 pt range and finished with 29 pts. He is only 5 three pointers away from the season record. The Bucks will now go to Tea Thursday night and take on the Titans. Tip off is set for 8:00pm. GO BUCKS!!!
