A great afternoon for the 6th Grade Track Meet at YMS. Congratulations to all of the athletes!
Gazelles Softball swept Mitchell with a 10-5 JV win and a 17-6 varsity win! The team heads into Friday at home against Brookings with a 11-4 record.
The Yankton Gazelles Softball senior spotlight tonight is our varsity pitcher #12 Grace Behrns! Grace played a big part in the varsity softball win tonight against Sioux Falls Washington, ending 7-6. She racked up 2 hits, 4 RBIs, and pitched all seven innings of the game.
Post graduation plans: Grace will be attending Iowa Central to play softball and major in Art Education.

YMS artists are creating fantasy maps and creating stories about their worlds!
Artists start with a cup of rice placed on their paper to trace around. This reveals their continent and islands when the rice is removed. Then, artists have to create everything for their map!

The Gazelles defeated Vermillion 22-3. Senior Elle Feser led Yankton’s offense with a grand slam and a double.
Gazelles Varsity Softball tops Sioux Falls Roosevelt 18-0 in three innings today. Next action is home Saturday at Sertoma Park!
