Congratulations to Mrs. Angela Larson! Mrs. Larson received the Encore award from the South Dakota American Choral Directors Association . The award is given to one member of the organization each year and is based on the director's overall contributions and achievements in the choral field in the state.
Due to the inclement weather, Yankton School District will have a 10:00 AM late start today, Tuesday, January 26. There will be no morning preschool at Webster School and no morning Special Education Preschool at Stewart. All buses will run approximately one and a half hours later than normally scheduled time.

There will be no school tomorrow, Friday, January 15 for the Yankton School District. Forecasted high winds and blowing snow will create unsafe travel.
Yankton School District will have an early release today at 1:00 pm due to the forecast of high winds and possible snow later this afternoon. This will allow time for our students to get home safely ahead of the predicted storm. Students in Jr. Kindergarten through twelfth grade will be released at 1:00 pm. No afternoon Preschool at Webster School or afternoon Special Education Preschool at Stewart School. Buses will run accordingly.
