Educators Rising YHS chapter celebrates National School Social Work Week from March 3rd to 9th.
The YHS student house is for sale. The OPEN HOUSE will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, February 28, 2024, from 3:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. The house is located in the north building of the Career, Manufacturing and Technical Education Academy, 1200 West 21st Street.
Educators Rising YHS chapter celebrates National School Resource Officer Day.
There will be no school for students in Preschool through Grade 12 on Monday, February 19, in observance of President’s Day. School will resume on Tuesday, February 20.
Open House for the YHS student-built house will be Wednesday, February 28, 2024, from 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm. The Open House will be at the construction site located in the north building of the Career, Manufacturing, and Technical Education Academy, 1200 West 21st Street.

Do you have a child that will be 5 by September 1? Plan to attend the JrK/Kindergarten Open House at any of the Yankton School District elementary schools tomorrow, Tuesday, February 6, from 4-6 pm. You'll be able to see the classrooms, meet the teachers and register for school. We're excited to see you and your child!

A one-day in-service program for Yankton School District teachers and staff will be held on Friday, January 26. There will be no school for students in Preschool through Grade 12 on this day.
Due to inclement weather, Yankton School District will have a 2 hour late start, tomorrow, Friday, January 19. There will be no morning preschool at Webster School and no morning Special Education Preschool at Stewart. All buses will run approximately two hours later than their normally scheduled time. Please check the Here Comes the Bus app to track your child's bus.
Due to the forecasted snow and high wind gusts with blowing snow causing poor visibility, Yankton School District will have an early release today, Thursday, January 18, at 12:00 pm. There will be no PM Early Intervention at Stewart and no PM Preschool at Webster. Preschool conferences for this afternoon and evening and elementary parent-teacher conferences for tonight are postponed. Buses will run accordingly.
