Carving pumpkins in Kindergarten! Scooping out the inside of the pumpkin is a fun, sensory experience! Creating a jack-o-lantern design encourages critical thinking skills. We guessed how many seeds, put them in groups of ten, and counted by tens to see how many seeds!





Miss Greene's class loved science time...being a scientist is always fun!




Mrs. Stanosheck’s 5th graders researched and planned an essay using notecards.




Mrs. Wagner's Kindergarten students are having a blast learninng letter blends! We worked on the double O sound this week. We made "BOO" signs to help us learn the /ew/ sound. Have a Bootiful Day!


An in-service program for Yankton School District teachers and staff will be held tomorrow, Friday, October 22 There will be no school for students in Preschool through Grade 12 on that day. School will resume on Monday, October 25.


It was a big day in first grade! Mrs. Larsen’s class enjoyed their pumpkins from the Bucks football team and their new “Porter the Hoarder” books.
