The Gazelle golfers finished 4th at the Yankton Invite behind Aberdeen Central, Mitchell, & RC Stevens. Yankton 8th grader Ellia Homstad carded a career best 1-under 71 to finish 2nd. Also scoring for Yankton were Elsie Larson (87), Sabrina Krajewski (91), & Madison Ryken (93).

The quad meet scheduled for today at Mitchell was cancelled, so our Gazelle golfers will head to the Huron Invitational on Thursday. We'll wrap up the week at the Yankton Invitational on Friday! Good luck, Gazelles!
Our Gazelle seniors will be playing their final home tournament this Friday at the Yankton Invitational at Fox Run. Elsie Larson is playing the best golf of her career as a Gazelle, led the team at the Harrisburg Invitational, and had a top 10 finish at the Pierre Invitational. Help us show our appreciation for Elsie's great contributions as a Gazelle as she heads down her final senior stretch!
Our Gazelle seniors will be playing their final home tournament this Friday at the Yankton Invitational at Fox Run. Gracie Brockberg has been a valuable part of our team during her career and shows great leadership as one of our veteran athletes. Her best finish so far this year was a tie for 2nd in the Brandon Valley Quad shooting a 90. Help us show our appreciation for Gracie and give her a great senior send-off!

The golfing Gazelles braved windy, cold conditions Friday at their Fox Run Quad, but came through it with some smiles. Yankton finished 3rd behind Harrisburg & OG. Top finishers for YHS were Ellia Homstad (2nd, 89) and Sabrina Krajewski (5th, 94). Plenty more golf to come!
Gazelles beat Aberdeen 15-0 in the varsity game. Grace Behrns has her second shut out in a row. JV also had a nice win! Lead by a home run for Kyra Tjeersdma.

The Golfing Gazelles finished 5th out of 15 teams at the Pierre Invitational on Tuesday. All 19 AA schools attended the event (some didn't have full teams), and there were 95 golfers entered. Ellia Homstad finished in a tie for 4th place overall (78), Elsie Larson tied for 9th (81), Gracie Brockberg tied for 35th (91), and Sabrina Krajewski tied for 41st (93). Varsity and JV golfers will all be playing this Friday at Fox Run!
