The YHS Dance Team & Competitive Cheer Team will have a preview night on Tuesday, August 9th at 7:30 PM in the YHS Main Gym. Admission is a case of water or Powerade.
The public is invited to the annual Bucks and Gazelles Red vs Black Games tomorrow @ Crane. Gazelles @ 6pm, Bucks @ 8pm. Fans are asked to donate 6-packs of sports drinks which will be used during the season to rehydrate athletes following games. #YankonSoccer
YHS section leaders and new marchers are working hard on fundamentals! Marching band practices started this week and the students/staff are loving the progress and show! Parent/community preview is Thursday, August 12th @ 7 PM on Crane-Youngworth field.
YHS Band's marching show is set! Pirates of the Caribbean is coming to a stadium near you! Get your marching band shirts for the season & show your support for YHS Marching Band at the performances!

This past weekend Yankton area wrestlers had the opportunity to work with Olympian and World Team member Sam Hazewinkel during the Yankton Wrestling Camp. The camp kicked off with Yankton Alumni Sean Smith as our first clinician, with Sam finishing the camp for the last two days.

25 Gazelles soccer players participated in the USD Coyote pre-season camp over the last couple days! They battled the heat and got some top-notch coaching from the USD coaching staff. Definitely a great couple days of working hard and team building for this young squad!
