Here are the dates for our 2026 Summer Camps and Academy. The Summer Brochure through the city will be up for public viewing the week of April 6th, and then registration officially opens the week of April 20th. More information will be sent out in the weeks ahead.

Congratulations to these seven YHS Band members on their selection to the SDSU Honor Band at South Dakota State University. They spent two days rehearsing and performing alongside students from Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, and South Dakota under the leadership of nationally recognized conductors. The final concert showcased a high level of artistry and collaboration. Congratulations, once again!!
Introduction to Education and Training had three visitors to class last week to talk about education. On Thursday, Mrs. Tiffany Beste and Mr. Matt Fredericksen talked about technology for YSD along with their own experiences as teachers. Friday, Dr. Wade Pogany former teacher, administrator, executive director of SDSBA and lobbyist shared his experience. Each group gave our future teacher a different perspective of education.
