YHS Tennis will wrap up the regular season with a quadrangular tomorrow (5/7) in Brookings. In addition to Brookings, the Bucks will also play Huron and Aberdeen Central.

The 29th Annual All-School Visual Arts Exhibit is this Friday, April 29 11:00 am- 8:00 pm and Saturday, April 30 from 11:00 am–4:00 pm at the Yankton Middle School Old Gym. Sponsored by Yankton School District, the exhibit showcases artwork from students in grades Preschool-12.The student exhibit includes a wide range of techniques and media. This year the exhibit will feature elementary art from the new art curriculum Deep Space Sparkle (named after a Crayola crayon color).Come out to see the work of our talented Yankton students! The public is invited. Free admission.

Buck Tennis - Match Day


It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of Dr. Timothy Mulhair. Coach Mulhair was instrumental in the development of countless tennis players in and around the Yankton community.
Coach Mulhair coached tennis in Yankton for 25 years. Coach Mulhair coached the girls teams to ESD Conference Championships in 1993 and 2003. Coach Mulhair also coached many ESD All-Conference players and all of his teams earned Academic All-State honors.
Coach Mulhair earned the SDHSAA Coaches Association Distinguished Service Award in 2010 and has been a member of the SD Tennis Hall of Fame since 2014. Coach Mulhair was also inducted into the Northern State Hall of Fame in 2017.

Buck tennis was firing on all cylinders today as they earned a pair of 9-0 victories over Harrisburg and Rapid City Christian.
Next up is Vermillion and Lennox in Vermillion on Tuesday.


Yankton Tennis @ Harrisburg today to match up vs. Harrisburg, Rapid City Christian, and Lennox. First serve is scheduled for 12:30 PM.


The Bucks drop their first match of the season to SFW by a score of 8-1 today.
The day wrapped up with a 9-0 victory over Vermillion which featured many young up and coming players for the Bucks.
