Kiwanis President, Peg Olson, presented the April Math and Science Awards to Sara Strom, Maggie Schaefer, Caeden Ekroth, and Isabelle Wintz.


Today's match had neen moved to the indoor tennis facility.
First serve is 11 AM.


Due to probable cold, wet, windy and generally lousy spring weather, the tennis match scheduled for April 13 in Huron has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.


Mother nature may have moved today's match indoors but the Bucks found a way to stay hot defeating Milbank 9-0.
The Bucks travel to Huron on Wednesday to square off against Rapid City Central and Huron. First serve is 9 am.

Congratulations to the YHS Music Department on a successful day at the Region 1 Large Group Contest! Acappella Choir, Freshmen Choir/Concert Choir, Symphonic Band, and Concert Band all received superior ratings! The Orchestra and Cadet Band both received Excellent ratings!


Mother Nature may have been everyone's toughest opponent today but the wind and rain couldn't keep the bucks from coming home with two more victories on the day improving their record to 10-0. Next up is Sioux Falls Jefferson and Milbank on Friday.


2 quality wins fir the Bucks today as they defeat Brandon 7-2 and Mitchell 5-4 improving their record to 8-0 on the season.

A one-day in-service day for Yankton School District teachers will be held on Monday, April 4. There will be no school for students in Preschool through Grade 12 on this day.

The Buck Tennis team improved to 6-0 on the season with victories over Sioux City Heelan and Vermillion today.
The Bucks travel to Brandon for an ESD triangular vs. Brandon and Mitchell on Friday.



Congratulations to YHS Band member Damien Magnuson-Willman on being selected to the 2022 SD All State Jazz Band! He will travel to Brookings May 5-7 and perform a concert with jazz musicians from across the state. Congrats again, Damien!
